Part 2 Here is Part II of an interview with John Morton and Leigh Taylor-Young Morton on October 10, 2018, shortly after their return home from the Alps/Italy Heaven on Earth Tours.
Question: Is there something about moving past self-imposed limitations that contributes to bringing forward the experience of Heaven on Earth, individually and as a group?
John: Yes, is the first part of the answer. It’s the human condition, which by its nature has limitation. That limitation is in some ways according to what we can handle. So, it can be like, “How close can we get to the sun?” We would need some level of protection or we’d have to develop the capacity for intense heat and intense energy that humanly we really don’t have. So then in some way our human part would be vaporized or disintegrated or something like that. But our spiritual part can handle it, and so that’s the part that’s important to realize and be conscious of. We don’t die. We have a forever nature, and in that nature that’s our forever nature, we have innate goodness, innate love. That’s a truth that’s the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
So now we’ve referenced it, but as long as we try to do that in the mind it’s just conceptual. It can be, “Well that’s a nice idea, but I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Unless people do know. And then maybe begin having the experiences that go with it.
So we help people be conscious of letting go, which is classically in our teachings. Relax. Be open. And in some ways the keys are, “I trust myself,” “I trust God,” - however we see God. It’s the sense that we’re going to be protected when we go for who we are; when we have an intention to be who we are.
But it still has some practical things, like, “Well, if you jump over that cliff your body is not likely going to handle that well, so you may go out of your body in something we call death, or a transcendent experience.” So we’re not asking people to do foolish things or things that don’t make sense in a practical way about living on earth and being who we are.
Another way I’d relate to it is when J-R would talk about not blinding people with the Light. Like, “Well, they need the Light so I’m going to show them all my Light.” And then the people are squinting or turning away because they’re not used to intense Light.
So how do we do Heaven on Earth so other people aren’t afraid of it or offended by it? I think that’s where we learn how to do loving as a practical way of living, caring, sharing. There’s laughter, there’s peace, there’s a willingness to accept and tolerate people and conditions. We’re open to people being who they are. We’re accepting people, and yet we don’t have to be like everybody else. So acceptance doesn’t mean we’re all going to be homogenous and the same. And that leaves complete room for people to have individuality and diversity and yet still be in our heavenly nature, our divine nature.
I find the experience is uplifting; it’s nurturing; it can handle what’s going on. And there’s a sense that, “It’s OK.” Whatever it is. And I think that’s something very valuable in the world right now. To just have a sense of, “Even if we don’t understand or agree with what’s going on, we can handle it. It’s OK.” And that’s the first response: “It’s OK.” “Now what?” And in the “It’s OK,” is, “Well, what is it? What’s our awareness of what’s going on?” That’s also an opportunity to be aware of, “Well, what would you like?” “What would you want?” “What are your preferences?” It’s an opportunity to be aware of our creatorship. We have abilities; we have choices; so we can make a difference, a positive difference, an uplifting difference.
That’s how I see it. It’s something very practical, very down to earth. It doesn’t require religion. It doesn’t require that somebody believe in what I believe, or see things the way I see them. We can work things out in a way where we’re living in the world with the conditions and restrictions and limitations that are here and get along better. So it really is a better world, even if there are more people breathing the oxygen, drinking the water, needing food, shelter - these kinds of basic needs. And then, my point of view is if we do this in simple, powerful ways that accumulate and build momentum, the world would shift in ways where we’d start experiencing that the world is healthier, it’s more vibrant, it’s thriving. There’s food, shelter, oxygen, water for everybody. And we’re making choices so that we’re not out of alignment or in some way violating natural laws. And more importantly, we’re not violating spiritual laws - we’re in cooperation with how God intended us to live in this world.
Here’s the blessing: Note: You may experience the blessing more fully if you say the blessing out loud.
Dear Lord, we welcome your divine presence. We welcome Heaven, the nature of our soul, the nature of our true self, our true love, into our consciousness, into our expression. And as we welcome the divine nature for the highest good of all concerned, You show us manifestation. You show us how things can work in ways that serve everyone and everything. It often just begins in the willingness to be kind, to be understanding, to extend a good hand, to extend the benefit. And we can also request our divine nature to assist through greater awareness, guidance, wisdom. We can realize that every day is an opportunity to renew heaven on earth, to bring forward what is within each person. So we can do it individually and we can do it in cooperation – we can gather as those who are in harmony, peace and love. We can also find greater joy. We can find the blessings are increasing and becoming more manifest. And we can find we’re in celebration. We realize there are keys in being grateful, in being thankful, and again extending the helping hand, the kind word, encouragement. With whatever negativity, contraction, disturbance or violence is in our midst, the power of love can solve any challenge. Our greatest key is to love one another and to know we have been loved by being born into this world, that we’re born of the Lord in the divine presence that is eternal in nature. We’ve been given the keys in all of our senses, in all of our consciousness. These keys have dominion to overcome any form of negativity. We’re all gifts to this world and the world to come. And God’s gift is life eternal - loving all, forgiving all, blessing all.

PART 1 Question: John, in one of your talks toward the beginning of the Alps trip, I recall you commenting that choosing the theme of heaven on earth was in some ways a bold choice. Can you share more about what you envisioned when you first chose heaven on earth as the focus for this trip and this year, and also how you envision it now - going forward?
John: I still have that experience that it was somewhat of a bold choice. We’re taking something that is in a higher dimension, or a higher consciousness, that we can call heaven. And it’s not really on earth in the fullness. There’s more that we can be open to, more that we can manifest with our spirituality and with our divinity. And that is the opportunity.
And then there’s a level of what it is, where I’d say it’s not meant to be on earth, because earth is in the negative, or the material level. So, it’s that dimension that does not contain the full spirit. We need to go into the spiritual consciousness, the soul consciousness, in order to experience and be aware of what the divine nature is. But that intention, that ability, could also be an authority that someone has, like they’re empowered with a mantle to bring forward spiritual expression in the physical form. And I view that as something we all have as souls in bodies. We can bring forward the divine nature in our expressions. So then, it can be expressed through the mind, through the emotions, and through our physical choices in nature.
Taking on that intention, that commitment, for this trip, became in a way, “Well, what if, in a sense, we don’t make it – what if we don’t really bring forward heaven on earth - and if anything we bring something like hell on earth?” Like, “Nice try!” And it kind of backfired, like, “Who are you to try to do heaven on earth?” So it’s almost like it would go in the opposite way, because we’re not prepared, we’re not ready, we’re not authorized or qualified.
My experience is we had a really beautiful experience that sustained itself. We were experiencing really great levels of heaven and heavenly consciousness. That was the intention when we gathered for the Royal Road PAT Training in Santiago de Compostela, Spain – and that was a beautiful experience. Then when we met in Geneva at the start of the Alps Tour, the experience started up immediately.
Another aspect of heaven on earth was that it was as though it was happening to us. I kept reminding people that we bring heaven on earth, we are heaven on earth because of our divine nature. So when we choose to be aligned and be open to our divine nature, that is when heaven on earth is in front of us, on our left, on our right, beneath our feet, in what we see and what we hear. And I referred to St. Patrick’s Prayer, and to J-R, lots of J-R, so that all along the way we were playing excerpts and making J-R’s statements and teachings available as a reference.
Leigh: I remember when John and I were discussing the theme of this next trip, with the Alps having come very much to the fore of our awareness. And when heaven on earth came up, I felt my whole body frankly vibrate to whatever frequency seen or unseen it was carrying, whatever consciousness or spiritual promise that I felt was already in place that we were capturing.
Then once John laid it down as the intention, my reflection is that it’s not unlike what we learned in Insight I - that when we take the action, when we make the motion, then spirit matches us and meets us. If it’s just ideological and a conversation, then that is what matches us. But we began moving the energy on every MSIA trip we were taking. We were speaking and sharing about it, and it was like a collective gathering for well over a year, of people beginning to respond to the idea. When the presidency first asked, “Well, what do you mean heaven on earth?” I said, “We are heaven on earth. We’re the living heaven on earth by the nature of the consciousness we’re choosing, by the nature of our dedication in going home to God, and by being God-centric. That we can’t help but in due time to become what that is.”
Back to placing the idea of this trip out, and making the motion and the movement: Spirit just began to abundantly, almost like a tsunami, bring forward response from people’s hearts and souls to be there. And initially without much information of what the details would be. They had caught the spirit of this. It would be a gathering of souls who were called to be there.
I think that what we all experienced is that as we hold to that consciousness of our own divinity in our practice, in our loving – all loving – whether we speak or whether we’re silent, we’re demonstrating heaven on earth, we’re radiating heaven on earth, we’re touching to other souls whether they consciously know it or not. It really doesn’t matter.
We were this pod of people traveling around with each other in these places and no matter where we went, we transformed where we were. We transformed others through our joy. We were simple, ordinary, and laughed a lot, and did everything else wonderfully together. We were demonstrating what heaven on earth can be in loving each other and supporting each other. And we noted all along the way that it was an extraordinary group of people who were in the highest levels of cooperation - again, for this energetic, this frequency of heaven on earth. It became something divine. I think the “boys upstairs,” the Travelers, the line of the Travelers, the Christ, were having as much of a party as we were! I felt that all above and all here on earth were together traveling, enjoying all the blessings that earth can give us, and taking them through our consciousness and just radiating loving and appreciation and gratitude.
These are my perceptions. I watched John unravel this, unfold this, and, by the way, at no small cost. When one aspires to the highest, the highest angels, the highest path - you can count on the tests coming. It seemed to me as witness to the process of creating this journey that there were all kinds of obstacles, all kinds of details that were complicated and difficult. Lots of times there were “noes” and not “yesses.” There were lots of times when he and Brooke Danza had to work out assumptions from other cultures, but nobody gave up.
They just kept holding this intention of heaven on earth, so when the trip started I was awed at how fluid and how seamless it was. It seemed that all the tests had been traversed. John endured with a level of magnificent focus to serve all who were coming with the absolute best that could be had. I got to witness what this is. What heaven on earth can be on all levels of creation that includes the testing . . . And in the end, we are it! Weare heaven on earth.
